The pairings for the quarter-finals of the Pettitt’s county senior hurling championship have been confirmed, with four-in-a-row chasing Oulart-The Ballagh set to take on Ferns St. Aidan’s in the last-eight.

Elsewhere, Group A winners Faythe Harriers will be up against last year’s intermediate champions, Adamstown, while there is an all-Wexford district affair between Shelmaliers and St. Martin’s, and there should be plenty of sparks when Rathnure clash with St. Anne’s.

A notable absentee from the knockout stages this time round is Buffers Alley, whose loss to Rathnure on Saturday means that they miss out on the quarter-finals for the first time since the mid-1990s.

The ‘Alley are instead doomed to the relegation play-offs, which also feature Glynn-Barntown, Rapparees, and Cloughbawn.
