IT’S BEGINNING to sound a lot like Christmas for one lucky Wexford couple who picked up €500,000 at National Lottery offices in Dublin yesterday (Monday).

The pair won the fantastic Plus top prize in last Friday’s EuroMillions draw.

“This is a dream come true,” said the happy couple who do not wish to be named.

They continued: “We’ve been playing every week since the game started and finally our numbers have come up.”

The lucky €6 Quick Pick ticket was bought in Tesco in the Fairgreen Shopping Centre, Carlow on the day of the draw. Speculation is mounting today about who won the amazing prize.
