Organisers of an ‘abortion bus’ have said they have been contacted by a number of Irish women who want access to the abortion pill from them.
Pro-Choice campaigners will be carrying out medical consultations via Skype from the bus, and will give out the abortion pill, which is illegal in Ireland, to women that are deemed suitable by an online doctor.
They say they are deliberately breaking the law to try to force constitutional change.

The bus will travel to Galway and Limerick today and Cork tomorrow.
Diana O’Dwyer from ROSA (For Reproductive rights, against Oppression, Sexism and Austerity) has said they have heard reports that some demonstrations are planned against what they’re doing.
“We won’t be actually handing them out on the bus because we don’t want women to be subjected to abuse perhaps by pro-life protestors we have heard there might be some counter-demonstrations organised so we want to make sure that no women be endangered in any way,” Ms O’Dwyer said.
Despite this, Cora Sherlock of the Pro-Life Campaign has said the pills being promoted by the bus are dangerous.
Ms Sherlock said “It is really just a publicity stunt and one that is very irresponsible and dangerous at that. I think that the people involved in it will talk a lot about women’s health but really women’s health has nothing to do with the abortion pill bus because the abortion pills themselves are dangerous.”
