Cupcakes and Cookies in The Sky on Sunday
THE 200 or so in attendance at Friday night’s annual cabaret and dance in aid of the Tracie Lawlor Trust for Cystic Fibrosis had a ‘whale of a time’.
As always the entertainment was top class, with George Lawlor as MC and Tony Jeffers, Route 66, John Kenny and the Lawlor Family among the artistes on stage.
Unfortunately, a group which a lot of people were looking forward to hearing, The Kerb Pickers, could not be there due to unforseen circumstances.
The organisers thank everybody who helped to make the occasion a very enjoyable and successful one.
By the way, there’s an invitation to join in the fun at a tea party with cupcakes and cookies on Sunday next, March 7th.
We’re told that it’s an old fashioned get together with a local community flair, starting at 2.30 p.m. in The Sky Bar, South Main Street.
Donate your creative cupcakes and cookies to be in with a chance to win a prize. All proceeds are in aid of the Tracie Lawlor Trust and you can contact Rebecca on 087 7916140 for details.
