GARDAI IN New Ross are investigating a robbery that occurred at Ramsgrange Post Office yesterday afternoon.

The incident happened at around 3.30 p.m. when a lone raider entered the premises and threatened staff. He left a short time later with a quantity of cash.

The robber is described as being male and was wearing a balaclava. He was around 5’10” in height and was also wearing dark tracksuit bottoms.

The Gardai are appealing for information on the incident and are asking anyone who may have seen someone acting in a suspicious manner in the Ramsgrange area around that time to contact them in New Ross on 051-426030 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800666111.
