The ban on visitors has been lifted at St. John’s Community Hospital.

Visiting restrictions at St. John’s Community Hospital, Enniscorthy have been lifted after the HSE placed a complete ban on visitors to curb suspected cases of the vomiting bug earlier this week.

Ms. Deirdre Lang, Director of Nursing at St. John’s Community Hospital said: “We would like to thank the public for their co-operation to date and continue the appeal to people who have been affected by vomiting and/or diarrhoea, or anyone who has had contact with persons with these symptoms, not to visit hospital until they have been symptom free for 72 hours.”
