A MURDER investigation will take place in New Ross next month.
However, it will deal with an event that took place in 1939 and, thankfully, will form the storyline for a production by New Ross Drama Workshop.
‘Strictly Murder’, by Brian Clemens, will be staged in St. Michael’s Theatre from October 18 to 20, at 8 p.m. each night.
The story is set in Provence and is based around English couple, Suzy and Peter. However, viewers will see what happens when Suzy discovers Peter might be the man he claims to be.
Her life is thrown into turmoil as the possibility arises that Peter may in fact be a ruthless killer on the run. Events become even more complicated and frightening with the arrival of a Scotland Yard detective.
The play is a tense atmospheric thriller which promises to enthral the audience from beginning to end. It has many twists and turns and is a fast-paced thriller where nothing can be taken at face value.
