Wexford’s senior hurlers are on a potential collision course with two-in-a-row All-Ireland champions Kilkenny in the semi-finals of next year’s Leinster championship.

Liam Dunne’s charges must first face Dublin in the provincial quarter-finals, where Kilkenny will be taking on Offaly. The other side of the draw will see beaten All-Ireland finalists Galway playing either Antrim, Westmeath, Laois, Carlow or London.

Meanwhile, whoever succeeds Jason Ryan as manager of the senior footballers has been handed a difficult Leinster draw, where Wexford will launch their bid in a quarter-final against either Laois or Louth. Whoever emerges from that sequence of games will then be pitted in a semi-final against Wicklow, Longford or Meath.
