The woman who died in Sunday’s two-car road collision on the N11 was Noelle Ringwood, (54), a native of Enniscorthy who lived at Bray where she worked in the library service with Wicklow County Council.

The accident occurred in perfect driving conditions at Baylands, between the villages of Camolin and Ferns, at 11.55 am.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The occupants of the second car, a man and a woman aged in their 40’s and two children both male aged 17 and years, were taken by ambulance to Wexford General Hospital.

Their injuries are not life-threatening.
