St. Anne’s captured their first WFC county senior football championship title since 2001 with a consumate 2-14 to 0-8 final win over Castletown at Wexford Park on Sunday.

Redmond Barry was the driving force behind the Sky Blues’ denying Castletown a second outright victory within the space of three years, as the Wexford star kicked 1-8, including a second-half goal, which added to a similar finish by Mark Furlong in the first-half as the Rathangan proved masters of all they surveyed.
