Outgoing selector Willie Cleary has been promoted to manager of the Wexford minor hurlers.
The Clonard-man, who guided Rathnure to the county senior hurling final last year, served under the stewardship of Martin Storey for the last few years, but the 27-year-old has secured elevation to the hot-seat. He retains the services of Liam Griffin, who was also an integral member of Storey’s management. The third selector is 2004 Leinster senior hurling championship winner Paul Carley, the Glynn-Barntown man who has a fine appreciation of the emerging talent having overseen the county under-16 hurlers for the last couple of seasons.
