GARDAI IN New Ross are investigating a break-in that occurred at the Mace Petrol Station in Ballinaboola, a few miles outside New Ross.

The inicident in the early hours of this morning. A Garda patrol car is believed to have been attacked by the culprits before they made their getaway at high speed from the scene.

The forecourt and shop was sealed off this morning as a Garda forensic team carried out an examination of the scene. It’s believed the theives made off with cigarettes and a quanity of cash during the raid.
