Ben Brosnan has been called up to the All-Stars tour, which has flown out to New York for an exhibition game between the 2011 and 2012 selections at Gaelic Park in The Bronx, on Saturday.

Wexford sharpshooter Ben was shortlisted for the 2011 All-Stars, but was unlucky to miss out. However, he has won a coveted place on the touring party owing in part to three players having been selected on both the 2011 and 2012 All-Stars.

The 2011 Stars will be overseen byDublin’s All-Ireland-winning manager of that year, Pat Gilory, while the man who followed in his footsteps with Donegal this year, Jim McGuiness takes care of the 2012 crew.
