THE MINISTER for Public Expenditure and Reform, Brendan Howlin, T.D., paid a supportive visit to IT & Telecoms Specialists, Innovate Business Technology, at Knockmullen Business Park, Gorey, today, in advance of the company’s participation as one of eight finalists at the National Enterprise Awards in the Mansion House, Dublin, next Wednesday.
Managing Director, Jim Hughes, told Minister Howlin about the award-winning success of the Gorey-based company, showed him how the business works, and, in reply, Minister Howlin offered greetings of ‘well done’ and he was clearly impressed by the progress of the business.
“With our product development pipeline bursting with new products, these are exciting times for Innovate,” said Mr. Hughes.
Innovate was the nomination of the Wexford County Enterprise Board for the Enterprise Awards.
The company, which has nine employees, has fingers crossed about next week’s awards ceremony, but already they have been awarded ‘Cisco Ireland’s Select Partner of the Year, while also collecting awards in three separate categories at the Wexford Business Awards earlier in the year.
Dick White from Gorey Chamber said that Innovate are a success story from Gorey that has achieved national and international success and he wished them good luck for Wednesday’s Enterprise Awards and for the future.
