Diversions were in place from shortly before 6 p.m. on the New Line Road on Wednesday evening after a three-car collision blocked the road.

Gardai and emergency services, including two ambulances,  arrived on the scene quickly but diversions were in place for a number of hours before the road was cleared and opened again.

It is understood that there were no serious injuries to anyone involved in the crash.
