THE NEW Ross & District Coursing Club has made a presentation to one of the town’s most respected facilities.

Representatives of the club handed over €400 to the Community Hospital. The money was raised during a recent fundraising event organised by the club. Among those at the presentation ceremony were Michael Eustace and Patsy Sutton (Secretary and Chairperson, respectively, of the club). John Cullinane was also in attendance. The money was presented to Hospital Matron, Eileen Murphy.

The club acknowledged the importance of the hospital as a community resource and its members said they were delighted to be able to offer it their support.
