Richie Kehoe is set to lead the Wexford hurlers into their first competitive outing of the new season, in the Walsh Cup tournament, on Sunday against the Dublin Institute of Technology, which has been switched from Ferns to Blackwater.

Garrett Sinnott, who has been named as the Wexford captain, is tied to University College Dublin for the Cup, and consequently the honour falls to Wexford vice-captain Kehoe to captain the team as they look to book a semi-final showdown against Offaly.
