A SPATE of robberies has taken place over the week, including a break-in to the parochial house in Kilmyshal.

Last Wednesday, six houses were either broken into or suffered an attempted break-in in the Moyne/Boreen Hill/Madeira Grove area.

Gardai confirmed that the houses, which were unoccupied at the time, were robbed of jewellery and money from 4 p.m to 10 p.m.

Additionally, a safe stolen from Kilmyshal Parochial House on Saturday evening was found yesterday in a field outside Ballindaggin, with the Church records scattered everywhere.

A call for vigilance is given by Enniscorthy Gardai, who are warning people to be extra careful in light of these new robberies.
