Lee Chin faces a hectic 24 hours this weekend, as he is involved with the Wexford senior football squad for Saturday night’s re-fixed National League Division 2 clash away to Armagh, and is named at no.7 for the senior hurler’s opening League clash away to Carlow on Sunday afternoon.

Chin and Andrew Shore are the only remaining Wexford dual players at present. But Shore won’t be involved with the footballers as he instead focuses on his responsibilities at centre-back in the hurling derby, for which recent county minor Andrew Kenny is set for his top-flight League debut having won selection in the no.9 shirt after a series of impressive showings from wing-back during the Walsh Cup tournament.

The first-15 actually keeps much in line with the selections from the ‘Cup campaign, with the exception of the return of team-captain Garrett Sinnott for his first competitive start of the season, as PJ Nolan is forced out through ankle ligament damage.

Wexford beat Carlow in last year’s championship by 4-12 to 0-14 at Wexford Park. But the last meeting of the counties on Carlow soil resulted in a shock 0-16 to 0-10 victory for the Barrowsiders in the League of 2010. Adding intriguing to this rematch is the new Carlow manager, John Meyler, who was ruthlessly removed from the Wexford helm in September 2008.

Wexford (SH v Carlow) – Niall Breen, Bobby Kenny, Tomás Waters, Eoin Moore, Richie Kehoe, Andrew Shore, Lee Chin, David Redmond, Andrew Kenny, Harry Kehoe, Stephen Murphy, Garrett Sinnott (capt.), Paul Morris, Michael O’Regan, Gary Moore.

Subs: Mark Fanning, James Tonks, Eoin Doyle, Shaun Murphy, Ciarán O’Shaughnessy, Daniel Martin-Carroll, Rory Jacob, Pádraig Doran.
