The €18 ticket resulted in a half a million euro win on the Euro Millions Plus draw on Friday night but so far, the winner has not come forward or been identified. The ticket was the only Irish winner on the night.
“We don’t know who won it. We haven’t even an inkling,” said proprietor Anne Swaine who, with her husband Ralph has owned and run the shop for the last 17 years.
This is the shop’s first big win in a Lottery draw and Mrs. Swaine said that she was delighted for the winner.
