Shelmaliers’ Ciarán O’Shaughnessy has been handed a full-debut for the county senior hurlers as they make three personnel changes for Sunday’s National League Division 1B second round clash away to Offaly.

O’Shaughnessy, who was college-tied during the Walsh Cup campaign, was sprung the subs’ bench in the opening League win over Carlow. But he is now promoted to a starting berth, at left wing-forward. O’Shaughnessy’s club-mate Eoin Doyle takes over at left corner-back from Eoin Moore, who has impressed in early-season, as has Doyle in defensive and midfield outings. The only other personnel alteration from the Carlow game sees Pádraig Doran, who has tallied 1-5 in five competitive outings this season, coming in at no.15 as Michael O’Regan is held in reserve.

Wexford (SH v Offaly) – Mark Fanning, Bobby Kenny, Andrew Shore, Eoin Doyle, Lee Chin, Richie Kehoe, Andrew Kenny, David Redmond, Harry Kehoe, Paul Morris, Stephen Murphy, Ciarán O’Shaughnessy, Gary Moore, Garrett Sinnott (capt.), Pádraig Doran.

Subs: Niall Breen, James Tonks, Eoin Quigley, Michael O’Regan, Rory Jacob, Shaun Murphy, Daniel Martin-Carroll.
