A HOUSE in the New Ross area was ransacked during a break-in, Gardai have told the Echo.

The incident occurred at a house in Camblin between 5.40 p.m. and 7.35 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6.

“A person entered the house through a rear window,” said a Garda spokesperson.

“The house was ransacked,” he added.

The matter is now being fully investigated and anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Gardai, in confidence, on 051-421204.
