Daithi Waters has been cleared to face Galway in the National Football League on Sunday.

The hugely influential midfielder incurred an extremely harsh dismissal in the Bank Holiday Monday clash with Westmeath at Wexford Park, and his loss was ultimately felt by Wexford as Westmeath came from behind in the last six minutes for a flattering win.

But Wexford are delighted to have the St. Martin’s man available for the away clash with Galway following a successful appeal tonight ( Thursday).

Wexford continue to chase successive promotions, with Laois coming to Wexford Park in the final round.
