Kate Kelly is back in training and ready to assist the Wexford senior camogie team in Sunday’s big National League Division 1 semi-final showdown against Kilkenny, at Walsh Park, Waterford (3.15p.m.).

The game forms part of a double-header, with the curtain-raiser featuring the Kilkenny intermediates against Limerick in a Division 2 semi-final, at 1.30p.m.

The availability of one of Wexford’s longest-serving campaigners Kelly obviously provides a massive boost as Wexford seek to maintain their formidable record in the League, which has seen them contest five of the last six Division 1 finals, including the last four finals, and bagging a hat-trick of League crowns between 2009 and 2011.

If Kelly actually features on Sunday, she will be the eighth member of the county’s three-in-a-row clinching All-Ireland team to be pressed into action this season.
