BK1916-A

THE DUNBRODY Archers have acknowledged the members of the general public who turned out in force recently to support its fundraising quiz.

The event was held in Corcoran’s Bar in the Irishtown and a total of 13 tables participated.

A spokesperson for the club, PRO, Andrew Wayland, thanked everyone involved in organising the event and he also highlighted the amiable and enjoyable atmosphere that prevailed on the night.

“Well done to the successful team and all other prize winners on the night,” he said.

“A big thanks to quizmaster David and his assistants Brian, Rosemary and Carmel,” he added.

Words of praise were also extended to sponsors and club members who helped out including Caulfield’s SuperValu and 3D Archery Ireland.

“Of course Corcoran’s staff were brilliant as usual, the food was delicious and the night was a great success,” Mr. Wayland told The Echo.

The proceeds from the event will go towards the ongoing development in the club.

The club also acknowledged the fact that members of the neighbouring club, Aos Dana, were in attendance at the quiz.
