A THIEF with a penchant for fine suits and alcohol spirited away thousands of euros of goods from the back of two trucks in Wexford.
The crafty culprit struck first on the main street, stealing a large quantity of spirits, while the delivery man was making a delivery, on Wednesday.
The same truck is believed to have been targeted at Skeffington St. a short time later, when six cases of Desperado beer, containing 24 bottles in each case, was stolen from the back of the truck. Shortly afterwards two Daniel Graham suits worth €220 each were stolen from the back of a truck outside Shaws department store.
“If you are delivering please be careful and ensure the back of your truck is locked,” a Garda spokesperson stated.
