Super Zumba fitness Gorey girl, Shelley Askins, had an early morning warm up to be top of her form for an appearance on Ireland AM on TV3.
Shelly, who has already had a huge career in fitness over the past 15 years, was selected from a huge number of performers from around the country to appear as part of a team promoting Zumba Fitness.
Almost two years ago, Shelley started her own fitness company called Diversefit in Gorey, and about a year ago she began teaching Zumba in Gorey.
She has created a huge profile in the Ireland and UK fitness industry and has travelled all over Ireland and to France to teach and part-take in Zumba classes.
Last May she took part in the World Global Conference in Lille, France with 3,000 other instructors, which she described as “a life changing experience.”
As well as the TV3 appearance, Shelley will also be promoting a huge Zumba event taking place in the RDS, Dublin, on October 6th for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Zumba Fitness has taken the world by storm and Shelley is thrilled to be part of that while representing Gorey.
