THE MAN accused of murdering Elaine O’Hara is pictured here in Enniscorthy just two months ago.

Graham Dwyer (41) was identified as the main suspect in the killing of Ms. O’Hara, whose skeletal remains were discovered last month in the DublinMountains.

The 36-year-old, whose father Francis (Frank) O’Hara is from Parnell Street, Wexford, was reported missing in August of last year.

Dwyer was charged with her murder in Dun Laoghaire District Court on Friday.

When asked if he had anything to say under caution, he replied: “I do: not guilty.”

The married father-of-two, who lives in Foxrock, Dublin made a trip to Enniscorthy in August, where he was awarded second place in a model aeroplane competition.

Dwyer took part in the National Scale Contest, which was held for the second year in a row at the Model County Flying Club’s site in Coolgarrow.

The Model Aeronautics Council of Ireland (MACI) ran the event and Dwyer was one of just nine competitors on the day.

A report on MACI’s website reads: “Graham Dwyer’s GB Models YAK55 had an amazing pilot figure fitted, all the way from USA but without the accent!”

In between competing at the event, Dwyer relaxed with fellow model aeroplane enthusiasts over a BBQ and sampled Wexford’s renowned strawberries before being awarded with second place.

Dwyer, an architect who is originally from Cork, is charged with murder at an unknown place in the county of Dublin on August 22, 2012.

Judge Bridget Reilly remanded him in custody until 10.30 a.m this Friday at Cloverhill District Court.

When contacted by The Echo, the Model County Flying Club did not wish to comment.
