Enniscorthy is experiencing long tailbacks in the town centre due to severe weather conditions earlier.

The N11 is blocked by fallen trees just outside Enniscorthy at Blackstoops graveyard, between Island Road and the roundabout.

The fire service and County Council crews are at the scene which is expected to clear in the next half hour.

One lane is operating at the moment.

The N80 is partially blocked due to fallen trees between Ballycarney and Bunclody.

Trees down at Ballymurn and Kilgibbon, near Bree.

Roadusers are urged to exercise extreme caution if travelling on the roads.

Wexford Local Authority has announced that due to severe weather,an  information talk on septic tanks to be held in Enniscorthy Presentation Centre tonight at 8 pm is cancelled.
