A UNIQUE entertainment event will take place in Colfer’s Pub, Carrig-on-Bannow on Friday, March 21, at 9 p.m.

‘Chris’s Journey: Father Epstein’s Musical Story’ is the brainchild of a classically trained pianist and a singer with a passion for story-songs.

Father Epstein is an Irish singer-songwriter whose new musical story is set to his own original compositions as well as a few classics.

‘Chris’s Journey’ is about a young boy in Ireland during the 1960s who decided to emigrate to Australia before he is 20.

The story is based around what happens to him during these early years in his life and on his return to Ireland.

The show features Father Epstein singing and playing piano while a narrator describes the events as they unfold.

The performance in Colfer’s pub will be the second time the show will be staged in public.
