AFTER A day-long count, Enniscorthy is first off the mark in Enniscorthy with two councillors elected on the first count.

Sitting Town Councillors James Browne and Johnny Mythen from Fianna Fáil and Sinn Féin respectively.

Fianna Fáil’s Barbara Anne Murphy, Fine Gael’s Paddy Kavanagh, Oliver Walsh and Kathleen Codd Nolan have also polled well.

Town councillors Jackser Owens and John O’Rourke are neck-and-neck after the first count while Cllr. Keith Doyle will be hoping for a good return from transfers from Cllr. James Browne.

Labour councillor Martin Storey is in a battle for the final seat which he was co-opted onto in place of Cllr. Pat Cody last year.
