PLANS FOR a Phase I 17-house development on Newtown Road, with provision for further expansion, have been lodged with Wexford Co. Council and are backed by business-man Fergal Bolger and his wife Margaret.

Mr. Bolger’s company Garman Properties, with an address in Ballyduff West, Kilmeaden, Waterford has applied for the construction of 17 houses on a section of land at Ballyboggan, Newtown Road.

The houses will be a mixture of three and four-bedroom houses, of which there is a scarcity at local and national level.
