The condition of a 38 years old Polish man, who was found unconscious and bleeding at St. Michael’s Place, in Gorey, last night, has been described as “stable” this afternoon.

The man was alone at the time and was found by a passer-by who raised the alarm.

He was rushed to Wexford General Hospital around 10 pm where he was ventilated and transferred to Beaumont Hospital.

Garda Technical Services spent several hours at the scene and the street was closed for a time.
