The stolen New Holland Ford Tractor T130

This Herbst Twin Axle Low Loader was also taken from the yard
A FARMING couple have been left “devastated” after a tractor and trailer, worth an estimated €40,000, were taken from their yard.
Marion and Terence McMahon from Ballymoney, Monageer, Enniscorthy say the New Holland Ford Tractor T130 and Herbst Twin Axle Low Loader were taken from their home over the weekend.
Although they are unsure of the specific day, the couple believes they were stolen on Saturday, while they attended a wedding.
Mrs. McMahon told The Echo that it appears the culprits gained access to the property by coming up through the back field, as the gates on the yard were locked.
She said the thieves must have already had a Ford Tractor key in their possession, which would have allowed them to drive the vehicle away and onto the Main Road.
“They were so brazen to drive out of there, and with a trailer that is as long as a bus! We are devastated,” Mrs. McMahon said.
The couple has never experienced a robbery on their farm before, although she says that two tractors were stolen two miles away in recent times – which were later recovered in Kilkenny.
“We are really hoping that someone can come forward with information on this, there will be a reward if anyone helps us get them back,” Mrs. McMahon commented.
“We need information before they get on a boat, or maybe they already have. It could be locked in a shed somewhere until the heat dies down – who knows. If anyone has any inkling at all, please come forward. The Gardai are doing their best also.”
She admitted that if they don’t get any word about the location of the tractor and trailer this week “it’s looking blue.”
