The final curtain came down on the Gorey Market House Festival as a packed Main Street rocked to the strains of Jack L last night.
The Sunday programme of events drew large crowds to the North Wexford town and an estimated 25,000 enjoyed the most successful festival since the heady days of the extinct Summer Fair in the 1990’s.
The success of the festival has been an economic boost to town.
GardaĆ reported a trouble free festival with just a handful of public order arrests on Saturday night.
