The first point-to-point of the season in the South East took place in sunny Fairwood, Tinahely, this afternoon where the highlight was a treble for jockey, Barry O’Neill, two of them for Kiltealy handler, Colin Bowe.

Winners were;

DBS November Sales 4 Years Old Maiden Race of €800; 1st, Brendan P. Walsh’s Gingili (Colin Bowe), Barry O’Neill.

Five Year Old Geldings Maiden Race of €800; 1st, John F. Gibbons’ Black Jack Rover (Colin Bowe), Barry O’Neill.

Mares Winner of One Race of €800; 1st, Richard O’Keeffe’s Rainbow Sally, (Owner), Garry Murphy.

Open Lightweight Race of €1,000; 1st, Marie Brennan’s Need To Know (John Paul Brennan), Barry O’Neill.

Five Year Olds Mares Maiden Race of €800; 1st, Eric Larkin’s Teaspoon (Owner), Harley Dunne.

Six Year Olds and Upwards Geldings Maiden Race of €800; 1st, Noel Dempsey’s Lule Kyle (John Patrick Walsh), Aaron Walsh.
