Local representatives and the general public are invited to attend a meeting on Wednesday night hosted by the lobby group Wexford’s Fight for an Acute Mental Health Service.
The meeting will commence at 8p.m. in The Bailey, Enniscorthy.
Steered by oganiser Colette Nolan, it is hoped that the meeting will facilitate a discussion on the urgent need to establish a 24 hour acute mental health service for the county.
The group was established in late 2013 and to date has collect thousands of signatures on a petition for the development of an acute service, which has been absent in Wexford since the closure of St Senan’s Psychiatric Hospital.
For further information contact Ms Nolan on 086 2146583, all are welcome to attend.
