The N11 is re-opening to traffic through Enniscorthy town after being closed for about one and a half hours due to flooding.
Diversions were put in place due to flooding of the N11, south of the Rafter Bridge, after drains became blocked due to torrential rain fall in the area.
Units of Enniscorthy Fire Service and workers from Wexford County Council helped to clear the problem while the Gardaí diverted traffic onto alternative routes.
Also Wexford County Council is warning of spot flooding on the approaches to Enniscorthy town on the R702, N30 and R744.
Roadusers are told to expect delays.
