TWO PUPILS from Ramsgrange Community School have qualified for the national BT Young Scientists Competition.

Ben and Neil Pierce entered a project aimed at studying the benefits of the direct sowing of grass rather than conventional methods.

Their project was entered in the Biological and Ecological category. The twins will travel to Dublin to represent their school and county in the RDS on from January 6 to 10.

The pupils are students of Mr. Reynolds and both he and the other members of staff wish the two brothers the best of luck when they bring their project to Dublin.
