A TEENAGER reported as missing for almost two weeks was located safe and well yesterday (Monday).

Gardai announced on Thursday that Starr Carew (17) was last seen in the Gimount area of Enniscorthy at approximately 5.05pm on February 13.

They gave a description of the teenager as approximately 5ft 4″ with long blonde hair, a slight build, blue eyes, and a fair complexion.

They added that she was wearing blue ripped jeans with a lace design, long black boots and a grey jacket the last time she was seen.

Gardai in Enniscorthy released a public appeal for information to trace the whereabouts of Starr last week, saying they were concerned for her welfare.

Yesterday, they announced she was found and was fine. Gardaí wish to thank the public and the media for their assistance in this matter. No further action is required.
