A LOCAL GAA club has highlighted the caring nature of its members by presenting a cheque to a local hospital.

St. James G.A.A. Club presented a cheque for €1,112.63 to the Friends of St. Luke’s Hospital last week.

The presentation was made to representatives of the hospital by Simon Kennedy on behalf of the club.

The money was raised during a recent Wren Boys collection. Everyone involved was delighted with amount of money collected and they expressed thanks to everyone who supported the fundraiser.
