WEXFORD LOOKS set to follow the nationwide trend of voting Yes to Marriage Equality.

The current figures have the yes vote at 64% with just over half the boxes open.

Some interesting figures:

Senator Jim Walsh’s voting box in New Ross has polled 74% in favour of a Yes vote.

Every box opened so far has had a higher Yes percentage with the lowest figure being 52% in Adamstown.

The highest Yes vote so far has come from St. Aidan’s in Enniscorthy , 86%, where the local parish administrator Fr. Richard Lawless had expressed his intention to vote Yes.
