Colin Bowe and Donnchadh Doyle are level in the National Handler’s Championship with two days left.

The battle for the 2014-’15 National Handler’s Point-to-Point Championship title saw Colin Bowe, Kiltealy, draw level with his neighbour, Donnchadh Doyle, after winning with Theatre Mole in the mares maiden race at soggy Kinsale on Saturday evening.

They have finished level on 28 winners each and will share the title.

For Colin Bowe of Kiltealy, it is his third title – he also won in 2010 and 2011 – but it is a first title for Donnchadh Doyle, Bowe’s neighbour, who trains a string at Ballindaggin.
