Irish Water has requested The Wexford Echo to notify customers in the Enniscorthy area of Wexford that water restrictions will be in place between the hours of 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. from tonight Thursday June 11 until Monday June 15.

The water restrictions are as a result of a pump failure at the local reservoir, which necessitates that water in the reservoir be preserved for local day time use.

Irish Water and Wexford County Council are undertaking essential works to restore supply and it is anticipated that these works will be completed by Monday, June 15.
