WHILE TRAFFIC heading into Wexford town at Ardcavan can be bad enough at peak times, motorists can expect even further delays this week as urgent work gets under way on the road between Castlebridge and Wexford.

Roadworks will get underway tomorrow (Wednesday) and will continue until Friday, October 16, meaning that motorists face over a month of tailbacks heading in and out of Wexford.

A message sent out by Wexford County Council has indicated that a 24-hour stop-go traffic light system will be in place and that delays should be expected at peak times.
