Gorey’s talented Spelling Bee Champion, Dara Tuinstra, (12), national winner of the Eason Spelling Bee challenge will appear on the RTE 1 TV documentary Ireland’s Spelling Bee on Sunday, August 30, at 6.30 p.m.

Dara is a student of Gorey Educate Together.

The documentary captures on camera the highs and lows of some of the young contestants of the Eason Spelling Bee as they battle it out for the 2015 Eason All-Ireland Spelling Bee Champion title.

Dara, one of the contestants followed in the documentary, represented Leinster at the Eason All-Ireland final and went on to be crowned winner.
