Munster announced this morning they have signed two new players on three-month contracts - one of whom is currently in action at the Rugby world Cup.

Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino in action against Australia in the Rugby World Cup semi-final in Twickenham on October 25.

Argentinian full-back Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino will join the club after he plays in Friday’s RWC Bronze medal match. He is expected to start at 15 for Los Pumas against the Springboks.

Also joining the province is 26-year-old Sean Doyle, a flanker who previously played for Ulster. Munster said Doyle arrived on Tuesday and trained with the squad yesterday in Cork.

Doyle has joined Munster after leaving Super Rugby side the Brumbies, while Amorosino played with Cardiff Blues last season.

News of the new signing come after Felix Jones yesterday confirmed he has being forced into retirement at the age of 28, due to medical concerns.
