Bank of Ireland has said it has 'identified' the issue in relation to the delay in payments.
The issue arose earlier this morning after a number of complaints for customers that wages had not been paid into their accounts.

There is no information as to how many customers are affected by the issue but the bank has said it is working to resolve it.

In a statement issued this lunchtime, a spokesperson for the bank said it will continue to provide updates to customers across all channels - with a further update due “shortly”.
