A man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Belfast city centre.
The 23-year-old was arrested by police after the stabbing of a man on Thursday night near Belfast High Street.
The man will appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court later today and has also been charged with possession of class B and C drugs and assaulting a police officer who was attempting to arrest him.
The 19-year-old victim is said to be in a stable condition.
Detective Sergeant Conor Sweeney thanked the public for their help and appealed for witnesses to contact police.
