Two men have been charged in connection with an early morning burglary in Co Cavan.

The men aged in their 20's and 30's were detained by detectives working as part of Operation Thor at a business premises on Main Street, Kingscourt at around 1am.

When the gardaí arrived at the scene, they were confronted by three men who were subsequently arrested

One of the men has been released without charge.

The two remaining men will appear before Monaghan District Court today.
